are people really getting that rude?
So...I decided to do a bit of pvp just to help unlock hero skills. I'm not new to pvp and for the most part know what I'm doing. I go into RA and meet many nice people more then grateful for my healing (my average winning streaks are around 6ish most of which are flawless). I would call it a decent night for faction farming. Then I run into this guy...He never complained till we lost. Thats the sad part but he sure put up a hissy fit once we got back to outpost. Are people really getting that ungrateful to the point of saying "your a noob cuz you use this skill"
All I gotta say is if I ever get teamed with him again you can bet my heal will be half a second late
For those of you who are wondering what I was running I'll tell you.
Reversal of Fortune, Mend aliment, dwaynas kiss, Healing hands, vig. spirit, Life bond, balth spirit, blessed sig.
Easy enough build to run in RA where you do run into several teams who won't attack the monk

Don't listen to people in RA, it's as simple as that. I got called a stupid warrior a few times last week there. Funny that I play warrior for a top 100 GvG guild.
I'll be honest, I think your bar has a couple weak points, but overall, it's not horrible (that's all I'm gonna say ont he subject).
So, in coclusion, in RA, yes. In other PvP areas; somtimes, but not as often.

Yeah ignore RA taunts.
I have over a million faction, most of it earned in GvG and HA back in the days when it meant something, and pretty much everytime I go to RA I take abuse from someone or other at some point, usually being called a noob. Makes me laugh tbh

I'll admit I'm not the greatest monk. Seeing how ranger is my primary char and the class I play 75+% of the time. But as you said its RA. How many teams actually attack the monk. Most the time I just stood around spamming vig spirit. Which in itself almost healed them to the point that i didn't need reversal or kiss. HH is the "oh nos!" i'm being attacked spell. Between the -0/-1's being received from bond/balth spirit its a great way to heal and stay healed fast. I'll probably go back in again tonight to RA just to finish unlocking all skills.
Funny story: later that night I did get on the same team again. No bond for him no heals he died fast rest of us lived on to win.

Ignore C H O A D, and black out his name where you tried to PM him ^^.
Life bond is a useful skill, even on a heal monk. If your builds suits you, go for it. I was a mending bonder once and got a glad point for it, proving that any build with bad skills can be good.

What makes RA so volatile is that there are so many different reasons people are playing it. Some people want to try PvP for fun, bring their unique builds, make friends, etc. They'll get called carebears by more serious players or even harassed sometimes.
Some people are competitive and want a challenge of winning matches. Each match counts to them, and they'll get very pissed at others who cut their losses on a bad team, or people who suck.
And then there are people who just want to powerplay RA for 10-match streaks and glad points. They'll have no qualms about leaving the team instantly to try their luck again. They don't get along with the first two groups because they're not out to make friends or play RA for the 'challenge' of winning every single match.
And over all groups you have varying levels of experience and maturity, which is generally on the lower end in RA.

So basicaly our posts have to either agree with the original poster or they get deleted? If anyone points out flaws in the build or why someone might be unhappy with you using it then our post gets deleted?

He was not posting a monk build to criticize. The topic of this thread is the attitudes of those in RA. If you want to help him with his skillbar, create a thread in the monk forum and discuss it there. That was going off-topic and would lead to a discussion about which skills are good and which are not and so on. A proper disagreement to the original poster would be "people who run bad bars in RA deserve to be flamed". Although I don't believe many people agree with that, you are free to post it.

He probably realised that he screwed up and wants to push the blame.

Yea there can be many noobs in RA. It's a simple thing called "Blame the monks" where pretty much every noob in RA will just yell at the monks because they died or lost ... not because they are using a test build ... :\

Don't you realize that your mentality is doing the same?
Look, if someone says your skills suck, there is a decent chance that they're right. There is just so much good information out now that anyone who spends a little time on some forums has access to the general knowledge base. When the game was pretty new, there was a slew of misinformation everywhere (forums & in-game) and it was more difficult to learn quickly. But at this point, if you know nothing about someone ingame, it's not necessarily the right idea to immediately assume they know nothing about what they're talking about.
As far as rudeness, of course there will be immature kids playing this game, and you will have to deal with them in random group PvP. If you don't have thick enough skin, and you're still determined to run your own favorite strange build or whatever, then just turn local chat off.

He obviously meant while his team is still alive. If he's a griefing kiter (came upon a few of them, a mo/a with dash and dark escape - our team had 2 rits w/o offensive spells and a warrior without speed buffs left >.<), ignore him. They leave, usually. At some point their own teammates start telling em to gtfo.
